Lizzette Arcos, LCPC
Lizzette is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, providing bilingual therapy in English and Spanish. She works with children, teens, young adults, and adults, offering individual and group therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs. Lizzette supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger, ADHD, and social challenges, while also collaborating closely with parents and families to foster a team-based, growth-oriented environment.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, creativity, and genuine connection. Lizzette meets clients where they are and incorporates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, play therapy, and expressive tools like music and art. She especially enjoys facilitating group sessions that help clients strengthen social skills and build meaningful relationships in a supportive setting.
Lizzette earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health and Counseling from National Louis University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University.
Outside of the therapy room, Mrs. Arcos prioritizes her well-being by maintaining an active lifestyle. She enjoys going to the gym, staying physically engaged through volleyball, and nurturing meaningful connections by spending quality time with her family.
