Brenda Marwede, Owner, LCPC

Brenda is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Illinois, providing individual, family, and child counseling to clients across all age groups. She specializes in anxiety, depression, parenting issues, and complex trauma. Brenda is also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner (CIMHP) and is an Adoption Competent Therapist, trained through the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.).

Brenda earned her master's degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling, from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, in 1997. She holds a double major bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Brenda is married and has three adult children, and spends her free time getting out in nature.
